A German company called Handygames has just recently released a game called My Model Train that runs on some of the latest smartphones – cellular phones that can do much more than just make phone calls.
In My Model Train, players have to operate switches, signals and reverse tracks to solve logic problems as fast as possible, transporting toy-passengers and boxes from station to station, choosing the ideal route and avoiding collisions. Players must also collect coal and water to keep the engines running.
Is it just me or is it a little ironic that this game lets you model a model railroad – itself a model of a real-world train to some degree or another?
