I'm trying to research a cast iron toy train I have. There is the engine. (no means of being propelled.)plus a wood or coal car and two cars that may have been used for coal wood gravel etc. they are linked together by a (c)shaped wire hook. The mfgr Reiss,D Mar.14.82 Pat,May 25.are raised on the bottom of a car. No tracks.I thank you for any info you can give me on the above toy train.I think it is 19th century vintage Regards

I've recently acquired Scale-Craft (pre-war) Model Trains, track, 36' of rolling stock, 4 curved and 16 straight American OO Scale-Craft track. Most of the car's are unassembled, original boxes, original packing material and price list, blueprints and assembly directions. I've spent about two weeks researching these to see what they're worth. I went to a train show last Saturday hoping to find some answers but came away with more questions! I'd ask the dealers if they were selling Scale-Craft, American OO and the majority of answers were "HUH." I don't know if dealers don't like me asking questions, or what. I'm on the internet asking questions to any one who'll listen. Just want to know what I have in terms of value...
